My name is Laval Martin. I’m a registered social worker (RSW) and the holder of a master’s degree in social work (MSW) and I’ve been in the field since 2006. I practice Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which balances emotions and rationality.
 
I am calm, validating, non-judgmental, and also able to challenge you to improve yourself and your relationship.
 
I strongly believe that every relationship can benefit from the skills taught through DBT. I use them myself and have found them to be highly effective. When you learn to apply these skills in your life, you will see tangible changes in your relationship.
 
I engage in relationship therapy in different types of relationships:
  • monogamous
  • non-monogamous / polyamorous
  • blended families
Imagine being able to have peaceful conversations, even about contentious issues. Imagine a return to intimacy and joy.
